How to pack Artificial Flower intact in delivery

2025-05-30

To pack artificial flowers securely for delivery and ensure they arrive intact, follow these steps:

Materials You'll Need:

Sturdy cardboard box (a bit larger than the arrangement), bubble wrap or foam wrap, packing paper or air pillows, tape (packing tape, preferably), scissors, zip ties or twist ties (optional, for securing stems), fragile labels or stickers (optional but recommended).

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prep the Flowers

Secure loose parts: If the artificial flowers have loose or delicate petals, leaves, or stems, secure them gently with twist ties or zip ties.

Wrap delicate parts: Individually wrap flower heads and fragile parts in tissue paper or bubble wrap to prevent damage.

2. Cushion the Box

Line the bottom of the box with crumpled packing paper, foam, or air pillows to create a cushioning base.

3. Place and Secure the Arrangement

Position carefully: Place the flower arrangement upright (if possible) in the center of the box.

Immobilize: Use crumpled paper, air pillows, or more bubble wrap around the sides and top to prevent movement during transit. Ensure there’s no space left for shifting.

4. Protect from Crushing

If the flowers are particularly fragile or tall, consider double-boxing:

Place the flower box inside a second, larger box with padding between the two boxes for extra protection.

5. Seal and Label

Tape the box securely on all seams.

Add "FRAGILE" and "THIS SIDE UP" labels if the arrangement must stay upright.

Shipping Tips:

Choose a shipping provider with a good track record of handling fragile items.

Opt for insured and tracked shipping if the value is high.

If shipping in hot weather, avoid leaving the package in extreme heat, especially if the flowers are made of materials that can warp.
